The Post-Patriarchy Men's Group seeks to create space for men to find meaningful connection and belonging as we sort through questions and challenges faced in our lives, and nurture mutual support. We also are wary of the harmful messaging and expectations of patriarchy within our culture and ourselves. We seek to explore how we can embody a healthy masculinity, moving beyond the patriarchal imagination that favors male dominance, along with its resultant layers of aggression, insecurity, and shame, to celebrate the "sacred masculine." What are the traits of a healthy, affirming masculinity? How can we be better men for ourselves, our families, and our community?
